Agree, They are in process of making a manual window crank handle and I'm keeping eye on it to go with this one. :)

I think I had similar situation before...

Check your stainless retainer for rubber weather seal, It may be not quite in right position or you may have swapped front/middle or left right?

or make sure the tension wire is threaded the side correctly so not jammed.
