One way to ruin a good soft top....hopefully insurance will cover it.Hunckered down in a motel in Picton sheltering from the storm and this is a first!....we have a garage to park the car in! Yay! Nice motely people down this way :lol:

Well we have been a member of the mx5 club for 7 seven years now and at 47 was usually the youngest there and practically are still even now on the odd occasion we still go on a run with the club.I have to thank the club for getting me into mx5's especially more so for the Taupo Driver Training days...

The MX5 club of NZ.. Thats the one you cant read their website unless you pay money is it not???? The Caves run is with the mx5 car club of NZ 25th May , NIKAU CAVE RUN. : A run to a great eatery in the Waikato and you can go for a walk through the Glow Worm Caves. Definitely both together and I have found it pays to remove the radiator and ignition coil for a bit of extra room and remember to drain your gearbox or oil will poor out of the drive shaft end.You can get it out without removing the PPf but on refitting its a two man job if you don't.And obviously ...

yep! something like that... will hopefully finish it today as I got sidetracked hunting down an oil leak which has turned out to be the inlet cam oil seal.

Keeping my fingers crossed that the crankshaft seal is OK!

Done this for track days today plus a higher flow fuel pump was installed what fuel pump did you use? any issues with the high flow pump overwhelming your fuel pressure regulator at idle? its a known issue. especially with the walbro 255. Walbro 500 is written on the box and I got it from Jared at ...
